It is set within its own expansive grounds, complete with a stream and a series of small, unfenced ponds. Smiddy Cottage is a short stroll from Crossbrae Croft with the option of booking 2 both for extended family or multiple groups. The cottage is also within walking distance of the Estates private Walled Garden and Glen Gardens which you will be able to access.
Accommodating up to 8 guests in four well-appointed, bright, and airy bedrooms, this spacious cottage provides plenty of room for everyone. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge with an open fireplace, complete with a handcrafted mantelpiece made from Elm wood sourced from the estate. Also on this floor, is a Super king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, and a shower room with WC.
Upstairs, you’ll find another double bedroom (convertible to twin beds upon request), a twin bedroom, and a modern bathroom with an over head shower.

The balance is payable 28 days prior to the check-in date.
For any bookings made within 28 days or less prior to check-in date – The full amount is payable upon booking.
Cancellations are free up to 28 days prior to check-in date.
Cancellations with less than 28 days notice and up to 7days prior to check-in date – We reserve the right to retain the booking deposit but will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative with you.
If cancellation occurs within 7 days prior to check-in date – We will offer a partial refund of 50% of booking cost.
*Late / Last minute bookings (booked 28 days or less before check-in date) – You may cancel without charge up to 7 days prior to check-in date.
